Philip doesn't know because he has not experienced the Distortion personally. Oscar converses with Philip, asking whether the Library and the Distortion Phenonemon are related. Afterwards, Pameli expresses distaste for her new body, which spirals into a fight with Pamela over the former's ungratefulness. She advises Philip to check whether Dawn Office had any insurance as well. Philip asks if Pameli's body is a mechanical prosthetic, but Pamela explains that it is a biological clone of her body which was covered thanks to her Fixer insurance.
Pameli mentions that she even had to replace her body because of the fight.
He apologizes for not being available to support Dawn Office in the Library, explaining that they were caught up in a different request which brought them much trouble, fighting The 8 o'Clock Circus in District 12. Oscar shows up and chides Pamela and Pameli for harassing Philip. The episode starts as Pamela offers Philip a meal, but he is still torn over his seniors' deaths and cannot bring himself to eat.
